After nearly two years of COVID restrictions that forced the majority of cricketers in the Maldives to take a back seat, the Cricket Board of Maldives (CBM) has announced that it will be organizing two calendars of cricket tournaments for the Ekuveni and Fuvahmulah cricket grounds in the Maldives for the year 2023.
The tournaments and events that took place in 2022 were a huge success, and the CBM is excited to offer more opportunities for competitive cricket for Maldives’ cricketers in 2023.
The Maldives has always been an active participant in an international cricket tournament, with the country featuring prominently in numerous regional and global tournaments. In addition to local events, the Maldives will also host the 2023 Milo Ramadan Cricket Carnival – Fuvahmulah Tournament.
